Nissan Magnite Facelift 2024: Updated Cabin & Features
Nissan India is preparing to make a significant move by introducing the Nissan Magnite Facelift 2024 to the country. On October 4, 2024, the Japanese automaker will unveil its one and only Made-in-India vehicle, which has been redesigned.
The updated dashboard layout for Nissan Magnite facelift 2024 model has been revealed in a new teaser released by the company. Prelaunch reservations for the small SUV are currently being accepted. Once it is released, the SUV will compete with its current group of rivals, which includes the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
There will be minor cosmetic adjustments made to the front, rear, and side profiles of the Nissan Magnite. The Nissan Magnite Facelift, which includes a new radiator grille and a redesigned chin, was captured in a leaked photo at Bharat NCAP’s testing facility. Compared to the outgoing model, the Magnite facelift will appear slightly more angular. Additionally, new alloy wheels will be added to the side profile and the rear section will get redesigned tail lamps.
Nissan Magnite Facelift 2024 Interiors
Nissan Magnite faces significant competition as a player in the sub-4 million SUV market. When it comes to sales potential, Nissan Magnite maintained its position at number eleven on the chart with 2,527 units sold in August 2024, staying outside the top ten. With a makeover in front of the holiday season, the company hopes to increase sales.
This is where the soon-to-be-launched facelift will help. Nissan has been releasing a few teasers ahead of the launch on October 4. The interiors of Nissan Magnite Facelift 2024 are showcased in the latest teaser.
Nissan’s latest teaser reminds me of the Magnite SUV Concept, which was first unveiled precisely four years ago, starting with the interior color scheme. What appears to be an orange, tan, or camel shade has been used by Nissan in place of the vivid red highlights.
The dashboard and door panels display the same information. Black gives seats a more subdued version of this striking hue for a two-tone look. In contrast, the steering wheel’s orange or tan stitching is also visible. Overall, the current model’s interior design resembles that of a Lamborghini. For aesthetic appeal, door panel grab handles are given fresh, intriguing patterns.
Design Changes
The new six-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels on the updated Magnite were first shown in a few teasers that were previously made public. A new front grille, an updated lighting configuration, and a redesigned rear end with modified bumpers could all be additional design changes.
Updated Cabin & Features
With slightly different trim inserts than the outgoing model, the interior of the Nissan Magnite facelift will have a black and orange theme. In addition to the single-pane sunroof that most of its rivals have, the teaser indicates that it will have dual-tone leatherette upholstery.
Features-wise, it may have a larger digital driver’s display and a touchscreen infotainment system. A rearview camera, a TPMS, six airbags (as standard), automatic climate control, and a wireless phone charger are possible extra features.
Expected Price & Rivals
When the facelifted Nissan Magnite is released, it will go up against the likes of the Tata Punch/Nexon, Hyundai Exter/Venture, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, and Renault Kiger. Pricing is anticipated to start at Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
