Exterior
The presence of roads was Thar’s greatest asset, and it was something we adored. And it’s even better now that Thar Roxx is involved. Of course, this car is longer than the previous one, and it also has a longer wheelbase. Nonetheless, even width has grown, greatly enhancing its road presence. In addition, Mahindra added numerous premium features and made a few other changes to the 3-door model. The grill has changed the most; it is now thinner than it was. You now get new LED fog lamps, LED projector headlamps, LED indicators, and DRLs in addition to the grille.
These alloy wheels are the most noticeable modification on the side. These large all-terrain tires are wrapped around 19-inch alloy wheels. These exposed hinges are still present on this brand-new rear door. The door handles on these doors are the main topic of conversation. It would have been better if they were flush-fitting.
The addition of a remote-operated fuel filler cap that can be opened from within the vehicle is another significant convenience feature. This car’s rear profile differs significantly from the 3-door’s. This is a result of numerous changes made to the top cladding. Additionally, a high-mounted stop lamp is included here.
This wheel is also a full-size alloy 19-inch wheel mounted at the back that appears to be rather large. Of course, there are LED tail lamps and LED indicators among the lighting options. The fact that you are now receiving a rear camera from the factory is another plus. Thus, you are not required to purchase it from the dealership.
Interior
Although the Roxx has a better driving position, it is not very conducive for tall drivers. You won’t feel uneasy if you are shorter than six feet. Sitting high up allows you to see clearly and gives you confidence when driving. However, the footwell will begin to feel a little small if you are taller. Also, you will have to sit close to the footwell, which makes for an uncomfortable driving position, because this steering wheel only adjusts for height and not reach.
