Display, Hardware and Design
The iQOO Z9s Pro features a 6.77-inch (2392 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Even outdoors, the display is bright, with a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. This performs better than the Z7 Pro.
You can choose between standard (default), professional, and bright screen color modes. You can choose a smart switch that can switch between refresh rates or force them to 60Hz or 120Hz. It supports 360Hz touch sampling and 1200Hz instant touch sampling. When enabled, the visual enhancement option optimizes color and contrast in selected apps.
It also supports HDR 10+, which works on YouTube and Netflix. This has an always-on display that shows contextual information and notifications throughout the day or on a set schedule. The punch-hole on the phone houses a 16MP front-facing camera. The earpiece functions as a secondary speaker.
There is a small chin beneath the screen. It includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. The haptic feedback is satisfactory but could have been improved. The phone’s button placements and ports include a power button and volume rockers on the right. The bottom section is crammed with a dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille. The secondary microphone is located at the top. The phone does not include a 3.5mm audio jack.
The back of the phone features a camera section with dual rear cameras, similar to the iQOO 12. Despite having a polycarbonate back, it looks and feels premium, but its glossy finish attracts fingerprints. The phone also comes in Flamboyant Orange and has a vegan leather finish. The phone is only 7.49 mm thick. Even though it has a massive 5500mAh battery, compared to 4700mAh in the Z7 Pro, it weighs only 185 grams, making it lighter than its predecessor. The phone has IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance, as opposed to IP54 ratings for its predecessor.

Battery
With a 5,500mAh battery, the iQOO Z9s Pro performed admirably in the PCMark battery test, lasting 14 hours and 22 minutes. This performance was almost identical to that of the OnePlus Nord CE4, which also has the same battery capacity. In our YouTube video streaming test, the device used only 3% of its battery life.
The battery level decreased by an average of 7% after 30 minutes of gaming on BGMI, Call of Duty, and Real Racing 3. Using the phone moderately to heavily should allow it to last at least a day. If necessary, the 80W charger included in the package can be used to swiftly charge the phone. The iQOO Z9s Pro charged from 20 to 100 percent in 39 minutes during our lab test.
